i’m obsessed with this.
i want it to be for me.
like, a lot.
absolutely true.
can’t give up acting tough. it’s all that i’m made of. can’t scrape together quite enough, to ride the bus to the outskirts of the fact that i need live.
after talking with some friends about…
a day’s worth of search lines that lead to http://stephdub.com
i wonder if they thought they were going to get the answers…
god dammit.
sorry god, it was the only way to truly express myself.

Man they should have done a Surfer Rosa tour 2 years ago. That would have been amazing.Surfer Rosa’s my favorite too, but I’d do anything to see this. For a variety of (strange and hard-to-explain) reasons, I didn’t see the Pixies on their big reunion tour a few years back. Basically, they’ve been my favorite band since I was 16, in 1993, when they had already broken up. I have everything they ever put out, etc. and most of the solo material (I was a Kim Deal fangirl in college and saw the Breeders and the Amps a million times). I guess I was afraid that a) the shows wouldn’t be good and I would be disappointed, and b) that everyone there would be a recent comer to the party and wouldn’t really appreciate them. Looking back, both these reasons are totally stupid. So I will absolutely go see them on this Doolittle tour, except right now all the shows are in Europe.
Ben Folds Presents: University A Cappella! The Documentary
“In 2009 Ben Folds released a greatest hits record, of sorts, sung entirely in a cappella. The album, Ben Folds Presents: Unviersity A Cappella! features two tracks performed by Ben himself, but the bulk of the material was performed by various university a cappella groups.”
It’s completely amazing. And basically the coolest thing ever. I’m curious to hear the result.
